They can also help to maintain the temperature of your pool water. There are even covers that are strong enough to prevent pets or loved ones from falling into the pool while the cover is on.
- There are only manual pool covers. This is also not true. While manual pool covers do exist, and you have to work to remove and replace the cover each time, there are also a variety of automatic pool covers. Though they’re more of an investment, these covers are mechanically and more easily removed and replaced, so you have minimal work to do.
- Pool covers don’t require any maintenance. Your pool cover is designed to catch debris and other filth to prevent it from falling into the pool. This debris and filth will need to be cleaned and cleared away from the cover to keep it lasting as long as possible. You will also want to keep the motor components clean if you have an automatic cover.
